Shah Rukh Khan

.

This is the second guy I've seen from the Indian films, that is also a very very good actor. I was quite surprised to read that he had done more than 70 films! And his already 44 years old by now, but his still working 16 hours a day.

He views acting as his work, though he knows that he won't be there for long, but it is a good source to finance his dreams, he now owns a production company, Dreams Unlimited which was renamed to Red Chillies Entertainment. Aside from that he does TV host and endorse a lot of products.

What is also admirable about him is that he is a Muslim yet he only loves his one and only wife. He has no plans of adding another, and mind you, he does not have kissing scene in the films he has starred in because he does not want his kids asking him questions about not respecting his wife.  Aside from that, he believes that he owes the people his stardom, so he does not let it go to his head.

He is known as the "King of Bollywood" in India. And one of the King Khan's of India. Which they considered as one of the rich and powerful.

He was named by Newsweek Magazine as one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.
His net worth is considered $557.5 Million. Talk about a man who really works hard.

He also turned down slumdog millionare and 3 Idiots, which Aamir Khan did. As he believes not all roles are meant for him.

He is known as SRK, King Khan, and Badshah.

One of the nice things he said in an interview:  "Sex is not required to sell my film. My name is enough."

Now that is what you call making a film.

Here's a few excerpt from his interviews:

C: So your final message to women from 18 to 80...
SRK: I think you are the most beautiful thing God has made. Irrespective of what anyone says about you, or tries to demean you, just remember-and I truly believe this-god has made women in His image. I believe women are the most gentle, intelligent and sweet creatures ever created. Remember, there's no life without women.

SRK: "You know, it's so strange that I've done so many love stories, and all my co-actresses and all my friends and ladies, they say, 'Oh, you're so romantic.' I've never in my life been able to go and say hello to a girl at a party. The first person I said it to was my wife and I married her quickly."

SRK: One of Khan's big ambitions is to make a film that will cross over and satisfy audiences in both the West and India. "I'll keep tirelessly working towards that... I don't want to sell the poverty and the snake charmers of India. I want to sell the educated middle class of India. I want to tell them there's a lot of intelligence here, intellect here, rich here, happiness here, colourful culture here, and with due respect, we are not just some country, a Third World country. I don't want to sell the sadness of this country. I want to sell the happiness of the country."

What other people say about him:

Top Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra believes his popularity is partly explained by his humility. "There's a relatability to him," she says. "He's humble, and at the same time, he has the qualities that every mother would want in her child or every wife would want in her husband and every kid would want in her dad. He has all of those in him, so that makes him more than just this movie star who sings you incredible songs. It makes him a brand or a commodity which everyone relates to, and hence why he has become more than just a movie star."
